When @fabledfarm learned about a senior horse whose human had passed away, they went to go rescue him from heartbreaking conditions. They went to go rescue the horse and bring him to their sanctuary and discovered that he had been alone in a field for 15 years. His hooves were in really bad shape, and he possibly had founder, an incredibly painful hoove condition. They set up x-rays and consultations with their veterinarians and found out that he would need vaccinations and deworming.

The poor horse had been living off of oats, so the team at Fabled Farm Rescue and Sanctuary got him started on some good hearty foods to get his nutrition back on track. The poor horse was having trouble walking and was in a lot of pain. They decided to name him Cobalt because of his beautiful blue eye.
