Rescuers Only Had One Chance to Catch Puppy Suffering From Severe Mange and a Horrible Wound (VIDEO)

When rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited saw this particular pup from far away, they knew she needed help. Mikki was suffering from severe mange. She barely any fur on her body and her skin was visibly inflamed and painful. But that wasn’t all the poor animal had to endure, she was also badly wounded on her shoulder and kept desperately trying to lick the injury that she couldn’t reach.

Once at the rescue, Mikki slowly began to let people touch her, trusting that she would not be hurt. Her wound, infested with maggots, was treated, and just a week later, the injury and her skin were already looking infinitely better.

Thanks to her rescuers, Mikki managed to fully recover from her severe wound and skin condition to become a healthy, happy dog.
