Squeak the pig has no idea she’s not a lamb, which is great news for us all as we get to watch her do her best goat impressions – running, jumping, and chasing all of her sheep friends.
In this adorable video from Edgar’s Mission, Squeak and her friends are in adorable winter clothes to keep cozy, although we think they’re probably all warmed up from running around with their best friends. Pigs are incredibly social animals, so it’s no wonder that Squeak absolutely loves making friends.
This little piggy was surrendered to a Melbourne Animal Shelter just two months after she was born. According to her rescuers, she was turned in by a family who purchased her as “mini-pig,” but soon realized that “mini” is actually a myth and she would grow to be at least 200 pounds. Sadly, this happens all too often to pigs adopted under this pretense.
Pigs are indeed adorable animals, they make amazing companions, their antics are hilarious, but they do come with a commitment of around 10-15 fun-filled, soiled clothes, rooted up pastures, fence-testing years. So be wary of any advertisement that tells you otherwise.
