This Rescued Kitten Went From Frightened and Scrawny to a Fabulous Floof Thanks to One Kind Act

When the tiny kitten in the photos below showed up in the backyard of Imgur user TyrannosaurusLex88, she was a shy little thing who would run if anyone got too close. Although it seemed that the black-and-white kitten wanted nothing to do with people, with no mother present, the chances of her surviving on her own were slim. She needed help, which is where this kind person came in. TyrannosaurusLex88 began leaving food out for the kitty and soon after, they built her a tiny shelter.

During a rainstorm that took place weeks after the kitten’s arrival, TyrannosaurusLex88 found the kitten curled up on their porch. When they scooped the tiny little baby into their arms, she started to purr. Even though this was the first time that the kitten allowed somebody to touch her, the love that she felt for her human was immediate.

At first, she was all alone … Now, she has a human family and a cat family!

It’s thanks to the kind people who decided to help this frightened little stray, she has now become the fabulously floofy cat that she is today.

Without the help of humans, this stray would probably not have the wonderful life that she has now. Taking in a homeless pet like this fluffy cat is a great way to help combat the staggering homeless pet problem in the United States, but you don’t have to wait for a scraggly stray to wander into your yard to help. If you’re considering taking a four-legged family member in, remember to always adopt and not shop. And even if you can’t adopt, there are plenty of other ways that you can make a difference for homeless animals!
