Sweet Shelter Cat Meets Nice Woman and Decides to Adopt Her (PHOTOS)

Do you remember the moment you found your furry best friend? Many of us can recall every detail down to the second and the immediate bond that we felt with our soon-to-be companion. Imgur user talltat‘s cat Vern felt the same way when they first met. Starting with that fateful day in the shelter, Vern the cat has never been far from her side.

From the moment they met in the shelter, Vern wouldn’t let her go. He stayed put in her lap and demanded to be pet. Clearly, he was the one. 

After their long journey from the shelter to Vern’s new home, it was naptime. Imgur user talltat said that to this day, Vern still uses her face as his pillow.

She also says that like a dog, he’s never far from her side. How cute!

When she had to pack up her home to get ready for a big move, Vern made sure that he was never out of her sight – so she wouldn’t forget him.

After a while, he was introduced to the house bunnies. This is their first meeting — Vern fell asleep promptly after this photo was taken.

From the moment they found each other in the animal shelter to the present day, Vern and his human are completely inseparable!
