An adorable Asian black bear cub knows how to beat the heat and enjoy the small things, like jumping into a pool on a hot day.
For this video, the young moon bear, named Georges, was filmed splashing around in an ice cold bath at the Animals Asia Bear Rescue Centre in Vietnam. Apparently, this bear has found his trick and will continue to play around in the pool all summer, enjoying the simple pleasures of life. The staff says “Georges is a real water baby and can be found taking a daily dip during the warm weather.”
Georges happily splashes about in the pool, and we’re glad this bear has a much more peaceful life now than what it could have been. The bear was rescued along with his brother Baruffa, after they were confiscated from bile farm traffickers in Sa Dung, Dien Bien. Such a beautiful, happy video of this moon bear slashing in the pool. These animals endure a lifetime of suffering and pain from the hands of humans for producing bear-bile for Chinese medicine. It’s one of the most barbaric and outdated practices in the world. This video makes my heart sing knowing there are people out there (mainly Animals Asia) that rescue these bears from hell.
