We have the absolute sweetest video to share with you and it’s probably best if you’re sitting down to watch it. Edgar’s Mission Farm Sanctuary in Australia, recently rescued three fragile and weak, newborn baby goats. The little ones will have a rough road ahead of them as they recover, but Edgar’s Mission is making sure they have plenty of nutritious formula, teddy bears for comfort, and of course, kindness.
The goats have already made a new friend at the sanctuary. Ruby the dog is Edgar’s Mission official vet nurse and is responsible for welcoming new arrivals to the sanctuary – and as you can see, she didn’t miss a beat saying hello to the new goats. In the above video, Ruby plays with the goats and even gives the little ones kisses. Thanks to Edgar’s Mission, these three loving kids will be free from harm.
Goats are highly intelligent and emotional animals, they also make wonderful mothers. Even after years of separation, a mother goat will remember her baby’s call, illustrating the deep bond shared between these dynamic beings. And as the above video shows, Ruby has clearly picked up on how intelligent and emotional goats are!
We can all learn from their beautiful friendship. If Ruby is able to see how intelligent the goats are, why shouldn’t we?
To keep up with the amazing work Edgar’s Mission does, follow them on Facebook. Please share this post with your friends and family to show how compassion knows no limits.
