With cold temperatures setting in, there are certain dangers that wild animals face. Somehow, the doe in the video found herself trapped in the middle of a frozen lake. Although she made attempts to escape, when the two humans approached her, she gave up quickly realizing that she was unable to stand on the ice.
Whether it was fear that kept her still as these kind people worked together to pull her off of the ice, or she knew that they were pulling her to safety, all ends happily for this deer. The doe seemed to be slightly unsteady as she made her final departure, but all-in-all, she escaped her treacherous situation unscathed.
Although these two humans managed to save the doe, animal rescues are always best left to professionals. If you ever come across a wild animal in need of rescue, please contact your local animal rescue center immediately.
