Rescued Deer Meets a Kitten … OMG 44 Seconds in – Too Cute! (VIDEO)

There are a few things that we love more than interspecies friendships. For some reason, people think that there is an unspoken animosity between different types of animals – some pin this on survival instincts and others just don’t think animals are capable of feeling compassion or empathy. But it seems like every day there is a new set of interspecies BFFs that disprove all of these theories.

Just take the rescued fawn and kitten in this video, for example. Snowflake, the baby deer, was rescued by Kelly’s Kritters, a wildlife rehabilitation organization in Texas, after sustaining a leg injury. In the care of Kelly’s Kritters, Snowflake got to meet lots of other rescued animals – including the little kitten you see here.

Seeing these two sniff each other out and bond is sure to bring a huge smile to your face. We could all stand to learn a thing or two from these little ones – friendship is universal!
