Most animal lovers know that animals embody a full spectrum of emotions, but sometimes their pure expression of those emotions still leave us happily surprised.
In the above video posted by Facebook user, Natasha Ward Hance, we see a rescued pony named Tobias giving a full-on embrace to one of his rescuers, Kirk, who is Hance’s partner. This beautiful hug lasted for at least three minutes, and the pony was so comforted he nearly fell asleep in Kirk’s arms.
This touching moment happened just a few days after the Hances brought the pony and a mare home from the auction block, where they were destined to be shipped to Mexico for slaughter. Both animals were noticeably ill at the auction block, but after fresh food and water, comfortable accommodations, and a dose of antibiotics, they were let into the pasture, where they finally felt free.

God bless the rescuer. Good thing there are people in this world who really love animals and safe their lifes like in this case.
