Petition: Tell Florida Hotels to Allow Hurricane Victims to Bring Their Pets to Stay

Hurricane Ian ripped through Florida, and many families have had to evacuate their homes with their loved ones and furry friends. The storm has caused flooding, and millions are still left without electricity. These people have enough to worry about and should not have to decide whether to take or leave their pets.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts announced that they are waiving pet fees for those who need to evacuate their homes, and there’s no reason other hotels shouldn’t do the same.

Hurricane Ian is one of the most powerful storms ever recorded in southwest Florida. These people should not have to choose whether to take to leave their pets. Hotels need to understand that these furry friends as just as much of family as human members.
