Petition: Revoke Farrier’s License From Man who Brutally Beat a Horse With a Hammer

A professional horse farrier in the UK was sentenced to just 12 weeks in prison and a mere 10-year ban on owning animals after video footage showed him brutally beating a horse with a hammer. The horrific footage depicts a terrified horse restrained, tied to a rope, and incapable of fleeing this man’s violent beatings. His attack on this poor animal lasted almost seven minutes. ny animal abuse is tragic, but in this case, the abuse was coming from a professional whom both horses and horse owners trust. A 10-year animal ban is simply not enough for a man who attacks an animal with a weapon, and “losing his temper” is no excuse.

Please sign this petition now to tell the UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to review this case and ask that authorities to sentence this person to a lifetime ban on animal ownership and revoke his farrier license!
