Authorities in Daejeon’s Dong District are investigating a deeply disturbing pattern of alleged animal abuse in the Gao dong neighborhood. Since July, multiple stray cats have been found with severe burn injuries. In one parking lot alone, three cats were discovered burned so badly their eyes, ears, and noses were barely recognizable. Many of the rescued cats later died or were euthanized due to the extent of their suffering. Cats do not sustain burn injuries naturally, raising serious concerns that someone is intentionally targeting them.
Police reportedly believe a single individual may be responsible for repeatedly terrorizing animals in the area. This level of violence must be treated as an urgent public safety issue. Stray cats deserve protection, not unimaginable pain. Sign the petition now to demand a full investigation. Sign the petition now to protect animals.
