Brightly colored foods catch our attention, but many food dyes pose serious health risks. Research worldwide links dyes to cancers, genetic damage, ADHD, and reproductive disorders. Activists were excited when RFK Jr. allegedly promised to ban unhealthy food dyes, but he’s now allegedly siding with corporations instead.
Some dyes like Red Dye No. 3 contain petroleum. Others include titanium dioxide and caramel color containing 4-MEI, both linked to cancers and other health issues. The European Union banned titanium dioxide due to studies suggesting genetic impairment and neurotoxins.
RFK Jr. allegedly hasn’t banned petroleum-based dyes and is allegedly even relaxing previous food regulations. His plan only asks companies to voluntarily stop using these dyes—not making them illegal. Some candy makers are refusing. Worse, new rules allegedly let corporations label products “no artificial colors” even if dyes are toxic, just not fossil fuel-based.
Sign the petition now to demand RFK Jr. ban toxic dyes including titanium dioxide and 4-MEI from all food products. Our children’s health depends on it. Sign the petition now!
