A cat and a piglet may seem like an unlikely pair – but the two friends in this video prove otherwise and their interactions are the most heartwarming thing to see. Both animals live at Rancho Relaxo, a rescue farm, based in New Jersey.
Sriracha, the little black cat, is a special needs foster kitten – she has feline cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological disorder, which causes her to have walking and balance problems as well as experience seizures. This time, however, when the kitten went through a bad period of seizures, she found comfort from … baby pig, Batman!
Sriracha experienced a couple of seriously bad days during which she had two seizures. When that happens, her carers report, the kitten usually becomes a little “off” for some time. Because of her unfortunate condition, Batman, the less than two-week-old rescued orphan piglet, became greatly attached to the cat.
“I swear he knows she has had a bad couple of days,” the team writes,” and feels the need to comfort her.” The tiny baby pink pig seems to not even think about leaving the kitten alone – he cuddles up to her and keeps her company. What comes out of the unbelievable attention is the sweetest picture – and, certainly, much comfort for the kitty who cannot possibly feel alone.
