Meet Dukey.
Dukey was truly beautiful, but, sadly, had a growing tumor inside. When the time came for Dukey’s last day on earth, though, his human companions gave him the most beautiful and blissful day imaginable in the doggie world. As Daily Mail writes, “A Houston Labrador retriever’s final day on earth was documented by grief-stricken owners who wanted to provide the most joyful last moments possible for their pup and the photos–while bittersweet–have managed to bring joy to many thousands of pet owners across the internet as well. Cancer-stricken Dukey got a goodbye hamburger party, tearful goodbyes from everyone he loved in his too short life, and one final fun-filled trip to the local park.” Dukey had only three legs after having lost one to cancer. Though his leg was amputated, the cancer eventually returned, and his owner knew he was in pain. “His tumor was growing rapidly and we were out of options,” owner Jordan Roberts said. “He would rally during the day, but his nights were increasingly uncomfortable.” So, the decision was made to put Dukey down, but not before one final amazing blowout for all doggie time.
Read on to see more about Dukey’s amazing final day.
Dukey got to eat a plate of cheeseburgers.
He was surrounded by the people that loved him most.
He laughed.
He got to go for a ride.
Have one final heartfelt chat…
He broke the rules and splashed around at the local park.
He had fun.
He smiled.
….and basked in the sun.
…but then the time came
He got goodbye kisses and cuddles from his family.
He felt love (and no pain).
and passed on…
RIP our dear Dukey.
Dukey has now left us, but it’s comforting to know he passed in the hands of such loving caregivers. It’s also amazing that he was given such a brilliant last day of celebration. Dukey is forever in our hearts, as all are furry friends that have departed.

What a bullshit story to get people to visit your ad infested blog. money much?
What is your problem, you moron?
I feel sorry for people like you…what a sad life you must live when you waste your time reading "ad infested blogs," and worse yet, posting ignorant, heartless, and utterly useless comments on them.
Normally I wouldn\’t bother wasting my effort on scum like you, but today I feel compelled to tell you that this post, the internet, and the world in general, would be much better off without people like you.
Rest in peace, Dukey, you look like a fun loving and gorgeous dog, and I\’m glad your owners gave you such a fitting send off!
Oh my gosh! This story really breaks your heart. I know that must have been so difficult for the family, but it was the humane thing to do. RIP Dukey!
returning the love that he gave to you very nice
