Unfortunately, the world is not a very peaceful or safe place for many individuals. From conflict to abuse to exploitation, there is so much cruelty inflicted on both humans and animals. While this can get disheartening and difficult to hear, petitions are a great way to use your voice for good. Just by signing one, you are a part of helping those who are not treated fairly. You can even share them with friends and acquaintances to increase your impact.

Through petitions, we can reach those in power and demand justice for others. They are valuable tools for making positive changes in the world. If you are looking for a way to help animals and humans, here are six petitions you should sign this week, including Tell Companies to Commit to Going Carbon Neutral, Help Protect Right Whales, and Justice for Man Who Brutally Tortured and Killed Cat.

We want to thank you for being the change you wish to see in the world and giving a voice to the voiceless.

1. Tell Companies to Commit to Going Carbon Neutral

A new study just revealed that 80% of Climate change-causing emissions come from just 57 companies around the world. Chevron, ExxonMobile, BP, Aramco, Gazprom, and the National Iranian Oil Company are several of the largest contributors to continually skyrocketing greenhouse gases.

As a result, each of these companies has tremendous power to help us fight the deadly and intensifying effects of Climate change – and with great power comes great responsibility!

Please sign this petition to demand that these 57 companies commit to going carbon-neutral to fight Climate change and save our world!

2. Tell Authorities in Cambodia to Hold YouTubers Accountable for Harming Monkeys

In the shadow of Cambodia’s majestic Angkor temples, a distressing scene unfolds: wild macaques are subjected to abuse and exploitation by YouTubers wanting to profit from their interactions with these intelligent animals. One heart-wrenching video captures a baby monkey, clearly distressed, struggling to escape as it is mishandled for the sake of entertainment. This is just one instance of the growing problem of wildlife abuse at the Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site, driven by the quest for online views and revenue.

Please sign this petition to demand authorities implement stricter regulations and serious consequences for those exploiting these monkeys.

3. Help Protect Right Whales

The tragedy befalling North Atlantic right whales is spiraling out of control. Most recently, a female right whale was found dead and floating in Virginia’s coastal waters.

To make matters worse, this dead whale had given birth earlier this year — that calf is now an orphan, and experts say she probably won’t survive without her mother.

Please sign this petition to demand the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) do more to protect right whales!

4. Justice for Man Who Brutally Tortured and Killed Cat

In a heart-wrenching incident in Lawndale, California, a beloved cat named Mimi died in a little girl’s arms after being brutally attacked by a man. The suspect was caught on security camera footage torturing the defenseless animal in a driveway before striking it repeatedly against the sidewalk. This disturbing act of cruelty not only ended little Mimi’s life but also inflicted deep emotional scars on a young child who had to watch her pet’s final moments.

Please sign this petition to demand the authorities conduct a thorough investigation into this murderer and demand mandatory counseling!

5. Justice for Man Who Dragged, Punched, and Stomped on Puppy to Death

A local business owner in Oklahoma walked outside her establishment one day to find a horrific sight: a dead puppy was lying outside by the road, apparently beaten and abandoned.

After she called local authorities, they discovered security video footage showing exactly what had happened. A man dragged the small dog by their back legs up the street, scraping the poor thing’s nose along the pavement.

After he dropped the animal on the curb, that’s when the beating started. The man repeatedly punched, kicked, and stomped on the puppy. Finally, he picked the limp animal up and threw them on the ground, before finally walking away.

After so much violence and trauma, the puppy passed away from injuries.

Please sign this petition to demand authorities ban him from ever living with animals again, and also mandate therapy sessions!

6. Justice for Woman Who Starved, Neglected, and Abused Dozens of Animals

Neighbors of a remote Washington property recently spotted a dog who was starving so badly, he couldn’t even hold himself up. Authorities were called, and what they found was worse than they ever could’ve imagined.

67 malnourished dogs — 8 of which were assessed to be in critical condition — were suffering on a woman’s property, hidden away from caring eyes.

The dozens of dogs were in terrible shape. They were locked in various cages and enclosures, many just skin and bones. One dog was even found with duct tape around their snout — who knows how long they would have survived like that.

Among the suffering dogs, there were also two horses. One of them was already dead when authorities arrived.

Please sign this petition to demand this woman never be allowed to live with animals ever again!
