Kelso the dog was rescued in December of 2013. He was found trapped underneath a pile of rubble covered in scars. It was clear from his wounds that he had been abused, but the past can’t be undone. What mattered at that point was that he got help.
Cork Dog Action Welfare group, also known as Cork DAWG, put their all into healing Kelso physically and mentally. Thanks to extensive rehab and therapy he’s now living out his happily ever after with a forever family in Sweden. Nothing makes us happier than knowing that this pup will no longer have to worry about anything other than when his next belly rub is coming.
Sadly, the fight against animal abuse and homelessness is nowhere near over. We encourage you to help by visiting Cork DAWG’s website or volunteering at your local shelter.
