Neglected Dog With Skin Condition Was Dumped in a High-Kill Shelter By Apathetic Owners … Then This Happened

How could anyone allow such a sweet dog to suffer like this? It is heartbreaking to see Sissy’s condition knowing she wasn’t always like this – someone allowed this. Then instead of taking responsibility and getting her help, they abandoned her at a South Texas high-kill shelter. Thankfully, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC saw the hopefulness shining through her sweet, innocent eyes and are giving her a second chance at happiness.

Sissy’s eyes are severely infected to the point of bleeding.

Her skin is completely scabbed over and hairless.

She is currently being treated at the Rescue Dogs Rock Texas vet partner.

Though Sissy has a long road ahead, it is obvious how beautiful she really is. We look forward to following this precious girl’s progress and are so happy she is finally being treated like the angel she is.
