Mother Cow Following Her Calves Being Driven Away Shows Sad Reality of the Meat Industry (VIDEO)

In the above video, a deeply concerned mother cow is trotting at the tail end of a truck filled with young calves who have just been separated from their families. Destined to be fattened up before being slaughtered for steaks and burgers, these babies will never see their mothers again. As deeply emotional animals with strong familial and social bonds, cows like these suffer tremendous emotional trauma when separated, and the look on this worried mother cow’s face is proof of this trauma.
