Dogs with special needs and those that look a bit different from the average dog sometimes have a difficult time getting adopted. They are often found abandoned by breeders or their former owners and desperately in need of some affection.
This pup was likely dumped and left in the cold. When rescuers found him, they were shocked to see that he had an extra tail on his forehead. They had never seen anything like it! Mac’s Mission, a dog rescue that “specializes in special,” took him in and decided the most fitting name for this unicorn pup would be “Narwhal.” The vet said that there was no reason to remove the tail, so little Narwhal still has it today!
Besides his extra part, Narwhal is just like most dogs. He’s a little ball of energy that loves to run around and play with his doggy friends! He’s so adorable that the rescue got hundreds of applications for Narwhal. However, after some negative attention and suspicious offers, they began to worry about finding adopters that would treat him well. To make sure that no one would try to exploit this sweet pup, Rochelle, the founder of Mac’s Mission, decided to adopt Narwhal herself! Now, you can keep up with Narwhal on Instagram!
