As animal lovers, it’s often up to us to make sure justice is served to those who dare abuse or neglect innocent animals. Once again, we’re being called on to help enforce a fine given to a heartless human who abused up to 11 dogs. The Care2 team created a petition to the Washington County District Judge Curtis Thompson asking him to not all a dangerous man to walk away from his crimes without even paying the very lenient fine he was given.
The home of Frederick Frameli was raided after several complaints of animal cruelty were reported with some being caught on camera as proof. This is a man who was seen slamming an innocent puppy to the ground and even waterboarding another. The cruelty doesn’t end there, many of the dogs (which included wolfdog hybrids) were found extremely neglected. Some were emaciated while others had toenails curling under, skin problems, or were covered in filth. Thankfully, Frameli was charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty.
With all of these offenses, however, you would think Mr. Frameli would get jail time but he was only fined $1,400 plus $500 for the waterboarding act. This was a slap on the wrist but now, this cruel-hearted man is trying to have the fine dismissed.
Please sign the petition and be a voice for the voiceless. Should the fine be dismissed, he is likely to go right back to what he was doing. Numerous studies have shown that an astonishing number of people that have been charged with animal cruelty go on to commit violent crimes against people.
Simple actions like signing a petition or sharing a story CAN and HAS made a difference. Don’t allow heartless individuals to live comfortably without paying for their actions while innocent lives are at risk.
