A Man Ran Over This Dog With a Lawnmower – Here’s What You Can Do to Help (VIDEO)

This is a heartbreaking story of abuse. This is not for the faint of heart. Mommam, a happy, three-year-old dog, was doing little more than what his instincts told him to when an angry human attacked him. Thankfully, Soi Dog Foundation was there to help.

Mommam found a neighboring dog and attempted to mate with her. When the female dog’s guardian spotted him, he was furious (another reason why it is so important to have your pets spayed/neutered!). The man grabbed him, pinned him down, and cruelly punished him by violently running over his legs with a lawnmower. Now, Momma desperately needs help to cover medical expenses.

When his guardian found him, he called Thailand’s animal cruelty investigation and rushed Momma to the local vet hospital. Unfortunately, he was too poor to pay for the dog’s care. Without help, Momma’s legs will not heal. His front right leg was severed and had to be amputated. His back right leg is currently being treated by Soi Dog vets, who hope they can save it.

The man who attacked Momma is currently facing criminal charges. In the meantime, the best way people can help is to donate to Momma’s care. Momma and Soi Dog need our help. With proper care, Momma’s playful spirit will return and he’ll go back to being the fun-loving dog that he was. With pain meds he’s already walking and even jumping using his left legs alone. If that isn’t beautiful, we don’t know what is.
