Life doesn’t always turn out the way you plan it. Sometimes things go wildly into left field and you may not be able to accommodate a pet any longer. Giving up an animal because you’re unable to take good care of it is not a bad thing. In fact, in some situations it is the most responsible thing you can do.
But what is a crime is when people simply leave their animals on the side of the road or even attempt to kill them instead of surrendering them to the nearest shelter. This video is a prime example of the shocking but maddeningly common fate of some abandoned animals.
The kittens in this video were left in the wilderness by an inconsiderate former guardian who no longer wanted them. Not only were the kittens too young to care for themselves, they were also clearly domesticated. Meaning if nothing hunted them down in the wild (which is unlikely), they would still probably die of starvation.
Luckily, the kittens saw these humans on a boat and got to them as quickly as possible. The kittens were adopted by a nearby family on the shore, so at least this story has a happy ending.
