When Hope For Paws Rescue received a call from Terri Fox, founder of Foxy and the Hounds, about a kitten who got stuck inside a car, they rushed over to help. This curious kitten found herself inside a car engine and couldn’t find her way back out. All she could do was cry out for help. Luckily, some kids heard her cries and got the help that would ultimately save her life!

At first, the kids who found this poor kitten tried to lure her out of the engine with some tuna, but when that plan didn’t work, Hope For Paws arrived and carefully opened the hood of the car. After a couple of minutes of following the faint sound of her cries, they were finally able to locate her inside the engine and carefully pulled her out. Although she was still in shock, she looked so relieved to be out of there and into the loving arms of her rescuers. The kids who initially discovered her decision to name her baby Esther. It’s always heartwarming to see kids taking action to make sure animals are rescued from terrible situations!
