Kat Von D and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Collaborate On a New Vegan Eyeliner!

We love when celebrities use their position of influence in Support of animals and the environment. Kat Von D, the career tattoo artist famed for her detailed and precise designs, has long been an animal rights activist and proudly promotes a vegan lifestyle. In alignment with her artistry talent, she has developed a full makeup line that is high in quality, rich in pigment, long-wearing … and best of all, she has made sure the entire line is vegan and cruelty-free, including the brushes!

In some fresh and exciting news, Kat Von D announced her beauty line has partnered with Green Day’s frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, on a new vegan eyeliner!

The musician, who has always been known for his signature smudged eyeliner look, also shared the announcement on Instagram. This particular liner is called “Basket Case,” and while the release date has not been revealed, we cannot wait to test it out.

But that’s not it for Von D and Armstrong. Von D is also working on a vegan shoe line and Armstrong and fellow band member, Mike Dirnt, have a coffee brand called Oakland Coffee Works, which is dedicated to sustainability and fair trade. Even the packaging of their coffee is entirely compostable!
