Miracle, a beautiful young Husky who had been terribly neglected, was left on the side of a busy highway in Southern California, waiting for somebody to stop and help her. People kept passing her by, driving past the poor animal who looked so hopeless and so obviously in need of an intervention – until, finally, a kind-hearted person turned around, stopped her car, and got out to help the dog. Miracle recovered and received care at the San Bernardino City Shelter.
Miracle’s story was shared by Andrea Neyses on her Facebook page. The dog is a special one-year-old Husky who managed to escape a horrible home that offered her nothing but neglect.
Her body was covered in sores and cuts as well as infested with mange. Once the dog’s rescuer stepped in to help, she wrapped Miracle in a sheet and carried to the safety of her car.
Despite the neglect Miracle had to endure, she is incredibly sweet and loving and grateful for kind human touch.
Miracle luckily came across the right person at the right time, but now she still needs some help. The dog is looking for a great foster or forever home that will make it up to her for all the neglect she was subjected to during her short life. Rescuers hope she will be up for adoption soon!
