We can’t imagine what was going through this poor dog’s mind as she struggled to get up, unable to return to her puppies. Thank goodness someone called Guardians of the Voiceless and this sweet girl was rescued. When the brave team arrived on the scene, they could tell that Amita recently had pups but couldn’t find them anywhere. They scooped up Amita and transported her to the vet.

The vet gave her fluids, medication, and tested her blood to rule out any infections. We are so glad this cutie pie received medical attention and a soft place to rest her head. But wait! The good news doesn’t end there! Several locals that spotted the Guardians out and about reported a missing dog who recently had puppies. They had been feeding her and had even made a house for her and the pups, how sweet!

Amita was reunited with her little ones and still receiving all the treatment she needs to take good care of them. She is also on the list to be spayed. Once she is back in good health, she will no doubt have a group of compassionate locals looking out for her and the babies.
