We hear stories all the time of amazing animal rescues that leave us in awe. From people rescuing a puppy from a plastic container to saving farm animals from freezing conditions, animal lovers will go above and beyond to help any animal in need. And today, we have not one, but two rescue stores to share that come from the kind employees of The Home Depot!
In the first rescue, employees found a Common Poorwill who was emaciated and weak. The kind staff didn’t just leave the little bird to fend for themselves, they called the Wild West Rehabilitation Center located in Amarillo, Texas!
Both of these fantastic rescues saved two little lives and is great proof that there are people who appreciate and understand that every life is worth saving. Rescues like this one are incredibly important – but it is also essential to take care of one’s own safety and the well-being of the animal in question. Whenever possible in case of an animal rescue, remember to always consult a professional first!
