This gourmet deli in Berlin is a dream come true, for pet lovers (and their faithful felines and pooches) everywhere.
The idea for the German Pets Deli stemmed from animal lover, David Spanier, who wanted to treat his canine pal who could not digest store bought dog foods.
Spanier hired only the best of the best to serve our four-legged friends. The manager of the joint, Katharina Warkalla, is an animal nutrition expert. To make her signature deli delights, Warkalla uses a variety of the best meats, vegetables, fruits, and even pet-friendly rice and pasta. Yummy!
If completely pet AND human friendly foods don’t appeal to you, you can have a nice cup of coffee while your little friend gorges himself with tasty treats.
Surprisingly, there are individuals who believe that a pet restaurant is “unnecessary” in the city. Some have even complained that, “A store this decadent gives the impression that we do more for animals than for children.”
Well, if you ask us here at One Green Planet, most people would agree that their dogs and cats are their family, and they deserve a good pampering and afternoon lunch!
Check out these pawesome images to see just how bone-a-fide this cafe is!
