Rescuers Saw a Dog With an Infected Head Wound in a Field and Refused to Leave (VIDEO)

Another innocent pup was recently rescued from the streets thanks to the wonderful people at Guardians of the Voiceless. This incredible organization never rests and saves lives day in and day out. Thankfully, this sweet dog named Bageera was spotted by the Guardians near a large open field. He had an enormous wound on the right side of his face and as always, they didn’t hesitate to take action to save him as well. Though they had a difficult time keeping track of him because of the high grass, he was on his way to be treated in no time.

Once Bageera arrived at a safe location, he was given painkillers and fluids. His wounds were cleaned, treated, and bandaged. He must have felt SO much better after being cared for, probably for the first time. Bageera is currently being looked after by a paid foster home and will need continuing care to make a full recovery.

Thanks to Guardians of the Voiceless, street dogs like Bageera have a fighting chance at a life worth living. Many of these street dogs are hit by cars, attacked by other dogs, or fall victim to starvation or cruelty. Though they are doing everything they can to save, sterilize, and educate the public, they need your help. The Guardians are currently at maximum capacity unable to take in more animals. This means they need fosters, and oftentimes the only way to get a foster is to pay for one- but if it means saving a life then it must be done.
