Paris, the sweetest dog ever, is doing her part to clean up the planet. Paris’ guardian states that “she [Paris] just won’t walk past a piece of litter without attempting to pick it up and take it with her.” Together this recycling-duo clean up the streets around their home. That’s definitely something we can get behind!
Plastic pollution is a pervasive problem worldwide. It not only impacts humans and wildlife on land, but the majority of our plastic waste ends up in the oceans where it has a severely detrimental impact on marine life. In fact, it is estimated that 700 marine species are in danger of extinction because of our trash! Because of this, the work that Paris is doing is all the more important – but we can’t rely on just one dog to clean up all our mess for us. We all need to step up and get to the heart of our plastic problem.
