This is the story of Autumn, a cute little girl who won over the hearts of viewers of ABC News.
A family was recently evicted from their apartment, and when the property manager later passed by, they heard faint cries coming from the empty unit. The manager went in to investigate and found poor Autumn tied up under the bathroom sink, injured and in desperate need of help.

Abandoning a pet dog is one of the cruelest things to do. These poor animals don’t know what they’ve done wrong to be left. When we take pets we have a duty to protect them. We hope justice is taken on Autumn’s former family.
To help Kate’s Rescue continue to work hard for animals like Autumn, please consider making a donation.

It infuriates me that the people would tie up the poor dog and not tell anyone that she was there. I can understand not being able to take her with them after being evicted, but why not at least tell animal control with an anonymous phone call, if they are too embarrassed to admit what they did? Of course, they at least left the dog some raisin bran- which is more than some of these jerks will do…
