Dog Found With Muzzle Duct-Taped Shut Inside a Plastic Bag on the Highway Is Finally Safe

Author Bio

I am a writer and illustrator living in Poland.

The rescue group New York Bully Crew recently helped save a dog who was found abandoned in a plastic bag with his mouth taped shut on the Jackie Robinson Highway in Brooklyn. The animal was discovered when the police received a call about a moving trash bag on the road and he was immediately rushed to a hospital. Luckily, the dog, now named Saint Vincent, survived this horrific abuse – and he is now recovering under the vigilant care of the rescue team.

Saint Vincent received emergency vet care and is now being worked on by the ER doctors in Brooklyn. It is not clear how long he had spent in these unbelievable circumstances before he was freed.

Upon the rescue, the dog was barely breathing, bleeding from his nose, and his condition was grave. Considering it is impossible to tell how long he was lying on the highway, his survival is a true miracle. Now, beautiful Saint Vincent is slowly regaining his strength and already doing better. He is treated with love and care by his caretakers and hopefully will begin enjoying his life once more – this time in a real and safe home.

The rescue now hopes that the New York Police Department can identify the person responsible for the crime. The rescue is offering a $4,500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the abuser.

You can help cover Saint Vincent’s emergency medical bills by making a donation. To learn more about New York Bully Crew, click here.
