Someone Hung This Dog and Threw Acid on His Body … But He Refuses to Give Up Loving Life

Trio Animal Foundation (TAF) has taken in a dog who was the victim of horrific cruelty. The animal, Charlie, was hung by his neck and had an acidic solvent thrown on his body. Fortunately, the dog is now finally safe and staying at a hospital where he is receiving the necessary medical treatment. The police are working on identifying the person responsible for the dog’s suffering and getting justice for Charlie.

Rescuers first learned about the horrifying abuse case through the Garrido Stray Rescue Foundation, which made it possible for TAF to take over.

TAF not only had the means and knowledge to help Charlie – but his case also hit close to home for the team whose therapy dog, Hazel Grace, was also abused and suffered many burns.

What Charlie had to endure is unimaginable. Now, he is at last in good hands and has already started his treatment. Any dead skin around his burns has to be debrided and removed under sedation, after which medication will be applied.

Once he is happily out of the hospital, Charlie will be paired up with Hazel Grace and move into a foster home.

According to rescuers, the police have a good idea of who might have abused Charlie. A number of people have come forward since the incident and given information about the man who had allegedly tortured dogs and cats in the past. TAF is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information that will lead to the prosecution of the person responsible for abusing Charlie.
