They call dogs “Man’s Best Friend” for a reason. These animals have been by our side for thousands of years and learned all the ins-and-outs of living in harmony with humans. They know just how to make us smile, feel safe and loved, plus so much more.
But this is not all dogs do; in many households, dogs are an essential part of the family unit. As such, they play an important role in the day to day functions of that family. The dog is responsible for waking everyone up in the morning, cleaning up any crumbs that end up on the floor – and as the dog in this video shows – helping to load the dishwasher!
Okay, so maybe that last one is a bit of a special case. But hey, even if your dog can’t put dirty dishes in the dishwasher like this German Shepherd, we’re positive your pup would be more than happy to skip this step and “clean” your dinner plates themselves. Now that’s true dedication.
