I remember staring at my grandmother’s oriental rug as a child, finding scary monster faces in its intricate patterns. Judging by Mushu the kitten’s reaction to his owner’s fancy floor decor, he must see something creepy too. Watch this short clip to see the cute critter crawl tentatively and pounce with fright as he surveys the carpet.
So what is really going on here? Does Mushu see frightening illusions in the rug’s patterns? Are there fleas jumping out of the carpet fibers to attack him? Is he simply afraid of his own shadow? And what’s with that weird number six in the middle of the carpet? Looks pretty sinister if you ask me.
