Who didn’t wish they had Dr. Doolittle’s powers as a little kid? I still wish I could talk to animals and eavesdrop on their conversations with one another! We know that elephants have a specific sound that means “human,” and orca whales have not only their own language, but differences in dialect across pods, so clearly there is no shortage of information we could learn if we could understand animal language.
The two cats featured in this video have clearly come up with their own secret language. I can only imagine the surprise of their guardian who walked into the room and witnessed this comical exchange.
Perhaps these two friends are gabbing about the weather, scoping out birds they want to chase later, or plotting out a secret mission to capture all the treats in the house–yet, based on their human’s lack of response to their plans they seem to know their secrets will remain with one another. Sigh, another a day Dr. Doolittle powers would really come in handy!
