One cat who was born without eyelids has now received a new owner and a new pair of eyelids. This story will warm your heart!
Can you imagine what it would be like to be born without eyelids? You would not be able to blink or close your eyes. As Roxie Smith, the cat’s foster parent, says in the video, it must be like having a grain of sand in your eye that never goes away.
The cat was taken to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, Inc when he was four months old. After a long and expensive process that included several months and several surgeries, this precious cat finally received new eyelids. His new owner, Chelsea Mendola, says she loves her new cat baby. We are so glad that this cat now has a new life!
