As the Guardians of the Voiceless write on their Facebook page, there is never a dull day for them! Most recently, the rescuers helped out Sadu, a beautiful bull who found himself quite in trouble. Early in the morning, the Guardians received a call from a group of young children who explained that they had seen a bull with a bucket hanging from his nose. The animal was doing all he could to get rid of the thing, but could not manage to do so.
Once the team rushed to find Sadu, they discovered that the bucket was hanging from a hook that was stuck inside the poor animal’s nose. They believe that the bull must have got himself into that predicament while looking around for food. Sadu was very stressed and confused about what was happening to him.
Carefully, so that the bull would not hurt himself more, the Guardians set down to work – they gave the animal a sedative and used a rope to tie him to a tree so that he would not run away. Sadu was not at all happy about all that – but in the end, it worked out to his advantage! His nose was bleeding and the wound was surely painful, but Sadu was wonderfully patient and good while having his injury treated. And so the bull’s story had a happy ending – thanks to the children who did not leave him alone and called for help.
