Ban Animal Abusers From Ever Owning Animals Again in Oconee County

Nearly 100 animals — including 15 chihuahuas, newborn puppies, kittens, pigs, goats, and other dogs — were recently rescued from an alleged case of horrific neglect in Oconee County. Authorities first intervened in August, arresting three individuals. Despite initial charges, further investigation uncovered more animals in distress, leading to almost 30 additional counts of alleged ill-treatment.

These animals suffered extreme neglect, unsanitary living conditions, and pain no creature should endure. The individuals responsible are now on trial for animal cruelty. We must act to ensure they are never allowed to harm another animal again.
