Hooray! Three little piggies DID NOT go to the market! Instead, these three beautiful little piggies went to a new home at Animal Place, where they will get to live out the rest of their lives in peace, safety, and playful harmony. Watch as the adorable piglets explore the sanctuary!
Georgina Grace Wiggle Bottom (red), Magpie (black & white), and Rudy are three of five piglets unexpectedly born at a petting zoo which did not want to keep any of the piglets, so they were put up for sale. Unfortunately, before anyone had the chance to step in, two of the piglets were sold to be slaughtered, but these three babies were luckily saved by their human rescuer.
Animal Place in California has two locations, a 600-acre sanctuary in Grass Valley and a 60-acre adoption center in Vacaville. They rescue farmed animals from slaughter and provides them with permanent sanctuary or homes.
It makes us smile to know there are loving and compassionate people looking out and caring for defenseless creatures like these little pigs.
