There’s nothing worse than realizing that your favorite pair of Jeans no longer fit. However, there is a solution. Before you go out and buy heaps of new clothing, consider trying this foolproof tip to make your clothes last longer and fit better!

This TikToker shared a useful hack that she learned from her grandmother that will save your favorite pair of Jeans if they are too small. Instead of throwing them out or buying an entirely new pair, try showering in them to stretch them out!
Start by fully getting the Jeans wet under lukewarm water. This hack works best if you put them on and wear them in the shower. You can do some movements such as walking, sitting, lunges, squats, and bending over to help loosen and soften the threads.
Once you are done and have done the stretching movements for a good amount of time, take them off and leave the Jeans out to air dry. Schoknecht recommends keeping them on for 30 minutes after the shower and advises using a towel to pad out any extra-tight areas.
“This morning I put them on after air drying and like, they fit perfect,” said Schoknecht.
While this hack seems strange at first, it has blown up on the internet for good reason. Give this hack a try, and see for yourself how well it works!
