Did you know you can grow your very own lemons with just one seed? This Tiktoker shared easy step-by-step instructions to get started!

Start by extracting one seed from a lemon and soaking it in a glass of water for about an hour. After the time is up, grab a piece of paper towel, wet it, and fold it over the seed a few times. Place the towel-covered seed in a ziplock bag and leave it somewhere dark for about a week. After the time passes, open it up, and the seed will have sprouted! Now, add the sprouted seed to a pot of soil and plant it tail down. Water it and cover the top of the pot to create a humid environment. In no time, your lemon seedling will start to grow. As the plant grows, you can eventually transfer it outside in the ground or into a bigger pot.
Growing your lemons at home can be very rewarding. They are beautiful, have sweet-smelling flowers, and provide lots of fruit.
