The holiday season is, well, “the most wonderful time of the year.” With the sappy holiday movies, delicious seasonal flavors, cozy sweaters, and time spent around family, it’s hard not to enjoy this season. Gift-giving can be one of these seasonal pleasures; however, it can also cause a great deal of stress. Finding that “perfect gift” can cause us to keep putting off actually getting gifts until it’s almost too late. Not to worry. It happens to everyone. That’s why we have put together this amazing list of small gifts that you can make with items you probably already have at home! The gifts are budget-friendly, fun to make, and will definitely be loved by their recipient – Gen-Z or not! If you’re looking for a bigger gift, you can always make a few of these and put them in a homemade gift box.

Another hair accessory that Gen-Z is loving right now is hair scarves using bandana-sized pieces of fabric. This DIY is great if you have an article of clothing that has a cool pattern or a color and you no longer wear it. It’s as easy as cutting out a square and sewing or gluing down the edges!

This DIY is perfect for reusing any thick, type 6 plastic containers that you have. The charms turn out so cute and will make all the late 90s kids super nostalgic. If you don’t have wire, you can try using a paper clip to hold the charm. This video will also show you how to make these charms into pins with a safety pin!

If you have random little baubles around the house and some wire, you can make earring charms out of anything from little plastic toy dinosaurs, to bubble containers, to a plastic fork. This may sound strange, but I promise it’s a thing. If the person you’re giving a gift to likes TikTok, fashion, or has a playful sense of style, they will love your random DIY earring charms.
