Petition: Stop Militarized Immigration Raids in Chicago

Over 1,000 people have reportedly been detained — many of them lawful residents. This is not law enforcement; it’s an assault on civil rights and human dignity.

Local officials, including Chicago’s own alderpersons, have allegedly been handcuffed for demanding to see warrants. These raids — now backed by incoming National Guard troops — are inflicting trauma, dividing families, and turning entire neighbourhoods into militarized zones. Every person deserves to feel safe in their home, regardless of immigration status.
