Shocking undercover footage from Somerby Top Farm allegedly shows workers kicking and punching piglets, beating them with metal bars, and leaving wounded animals to suffer in filthy, overcrowded pens. Some piglets were reportedly shot in botched executions, screaming for up to 30 seconds before dying. Others were left to be cannibalized alive by pen-mates.
Several UK supermarket chains have already suspended ties with this farm. But unless every major grocer—including Aldi, Lidl, Waitrose, and Marks & Spencer—takes action, abuse like this will continue unchecked. Evidence also suggests inspectors may have ignored clear signs of suffering, making supermarket accountability even more critical.
Consumers should not fund cruelty. Sign the petition now to demand a full boycott of Somerby Top Farm until these barbaric practices are ended and real oversight is enforced.
