Woman Rescues Dog Under Sea Foam in Australia

An Australian woman is thankful her dog was rescued after being caught in a dangerous seafoam. Extreme weather in Australia’s Gold Coast led to seafoam covering a significant portion of the surface of the surf.

7 News in Australia reported that a woman wading through the foam lost her dog, Hazel, while on a walk. The news station filmed footage of the search with a local news crew. Hazel’s owner called her name multiple times trying to find her in the surf.

Several onlookers came to Hazel’s aide and searched for her, too. Eventually, Hazel popped up and was rescued and brought back to her owner. In the video, you can hear people cheering Hazel’s successful rescue.
