Reality star Lisa Vanderpump is one of the many stars who are using their large platforms to spread awareness about pet adoptions. She even opened her own rescue called Vanderpump Dogs Rescue Center, where she helps her clientele find their dream pets.

The organization has rescued 2,500 dogs since its first opening. Lisa Vanderpump is not new to rescuing animals as she owns two miniature ponies, six dogs, seven swans, and several other animals.

Vanderpump said, “Please give a fur baby a forever home just like I have. Please help us Clear the Shelters. It’s some beautiful stories. And it’s like “who rescues who?”

When asked what advice she could give to anyone looking to adopt a shelter pet. Vanderpump said, “Make sure the dog fits your lifestyle just because you fall in love with a dog. You have to make sure you’re equipped to deal with the dog’s needs. Go to a shelter and give a dog a second chance. That’s what they want. They want to be loved, and they want to find their forever home

Vanderpump isn’t the only star shining her light for rescue pet adoptions, many other celebrities are doing the same in collaboration with the global pet adoption awareness campaignThis includes social media pet stars, celebrity animal behaviorists, and professional athletes. There is no end to the number of pets that need loving homes to go to, so it’s amazing that people with influence are spreading awareness about the importance of adopting shelter pets.
