Petition: Demand Elon Musk’s Company Stop Torturing Monkeys

Elon Musk’s recent research into “brain chip” technology involved mutilating the brains of monkeys and causing extreme suffering. More than a dozen of these innocent animals died because of Musk’s experiments at the University of California, Davis from 2017 to 2020. While Neuralink, Musk’s brain chip company responsible, is denying the claims and asserting that they acted in line with ethical principles for research, others are claiming otherwise.

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) claimed the research caused “extreme suffering” in their report to the USDA. The complaint describes animals showing clear signs of psychological trauma and illness from the experiments. Some monkeys even experienced vomiting, anxious behaviors, hair loss, and loss of appetite.

The New York Post reported that a monkey was allegedly found missing some of its fingers and toes possibly from self-mutilation or some other unspecified trauma. These poor monkeys experienced extreme suffering as a result of these highly invasive experimental head implants during the experiments. Sign this petition to demand that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) investigate this incident of animal abuse!
